Frozen Camellias

Even on the sea islands of South Carolina there were freezing temperatures last week. The camellia above froze! It doesn't look to icy, but I can assure you it was frozen. The camellia below bloomed after the freeze. And is none the worse for the chill. Nature is amazing.
