 This past weekend one of my best friends got married. She kept it simple with gold & silver accents. Following the wedding there was a lovely cake reception. I painted the cups. Or rather I should say I printed the cups, using a simple wooden pencil eraser. I often encounter people that think of printmaking as an erudite, esoteric thing, but the truth is that all of us interact with prints everyday & most of us have probably done some form of printmaking in our lives. I am constantly striving to simplify the definition of printmaking & the closest I have come is the transference of an image from one thing to another, something that can be editioned.
