O Tannenbaum

Yesterday we decorated our family Christmas tree so naturally when it came time to paint I had trees on the brain. Hence the tannenbaum depicted here. I read about the history of the O Tannenbaum carol & loved the phrase "symbol of consistency & faithfulness." as the song did not start as a Christmas carol, but rather a praise of the evergreen. I only used the Princeton Neptune Dagger brush for the tree with my Hooker Green/Payne's Grey combo. I painted many trees but I just wanted to share this one as it epitomizes my trees.
