What color do you wish wasn't there?
This was a special painting made with a friend in mind, and one of her favorite colors is black. To be completely honest, using such a dark color for a background really intimidated me at first, but I absolutely loved the outcome of it. What is your favorite brush? I've always really had a thing for small paint brushes, even working on larger pieces I'll stick to my tiny paint brushes even though it takes a whole lot longer to complete the piece. My 2 round brush and my lining brush are my best friends. What is your favorite paper/surface to paint on? Up until very recently I did almost all of my paintings using watercolor paint on cold press paper. It wasn't until I was commissioned to make a memorial plaque painting of a pet that I really found a love for acrylics. Since that piece I've been loving working with acrylic paint on wood or textured acrylic paper. What is your favorite color to work with? I love to use a combination of light, frosty blue with deep reds. I'll sneak that color combo into any piece that I can, it's just so eye catching!
