Envisioning Something Different

The four books that stand out to me from my January reading (36 books total) all ask for people to think differently about the status quo. Will Guidara asks the reader to consider what elevates a dining experience, but more than that how does one pay attention? Margarita Montimore asks us to consider our relationship to time and others. Karen Swallow Prior clearly and incisively investigates inherited and not unquestioned (but more accurately not allowed to question) systems of belief. Peter Brown utilizes the children's narrative structure to question the role of animated technology and relationship. All of these books propose to the reader alternative paths, innovative and obvious (once illuminated) ways of being. It wasn't until I reviewed my reading that I realized this theme of investigative possibility. Upon reviewing your reading what theme emerges? Does it align with what you think you are interested in?
