Sun dogs, thus called because they follow you in the sky, are icicles 22degrees from the sun that the light refracts thru allowing for a visible spectrum. It is rare to see two at a time. Yesterday after we had come in from practice one of the coaches, who I have learned about a lot of natural phenomena from, noticed one in the sky & then quickly found the other. It was a magical moment after a great practice. There is always something to see outside. What will you see outside this weekend?

I had the chance to look at my mother's paint palette yesterday. Those wells of green (pictured above) were just so lovely, like hills by the sea, I just had to share them with you. Also it was interesting to see the colors she chooses. She paints primarily landscapes these days & her palette reflects that. I learned a lot just by looking at her palette & find it interesting. I wonder which of my friends palettes I will request to see next? Stick around & find out. Happy Thursday y'all!
