Accurate Representation

I decided to revisit the oyster shell series. This time I used incredibly vibrant almost clashing colors: permanent magenta with turquoise gouache. I then played with the images in photoshop so there are iterations in other interesting colors. All of these images have been photoshopped & none accurately portray the colors of the original artwork. These work as a metaphor for the news. We see the 32 oyster shells but don't know if they are purple, grey, green, or blue & what is going on in the background. It is a matter of interpretation. Each version a spin-off of an existing fact/painting. But the original is not displayed. Things to think about.
