Best Books of the 21st Century

​The New York Times asked the literati to submit their reflections on the best books of this century. Social media, naturally has a lot to say about what was selected and what wasn't. As a voracious reader I would like to submit my ballot for consideration Please note, The New York Times did not ask me, but it is still fun to emulate their style for this. If you are interested in seeing what their chosen persons did select, you can find those ballots here. 
It is interesting to note that I had to manually enter three of my selections where they allow for public voting. "How to Do Nothing" by Jenny Odell, "The Hour of Land" by Terry Tempest Williams, and "Walking with Abel" by Anna Badkhen. All of these books were published in the United States this century and thus meet the qualifying criteria. I took the time to manually add them, but I wonder how many other books were left off the list in this way...
