These are some of my first forays with watercolor & salt and brushprints, strongly influenced by the maritime forest and brackish waters of my home on Hilton Head Island.

The Fragrance Bar @ MOCAD

My thesis project for Cranbrook Academy of Art proposed the idea that perfume is a print, because it can be set to a limited edition and is a layered thing. On opening night I mixed signature fragrances for individuals.

These heart/love drawings evolved from all of the relationships I saw being played out among students during my time as a dorm mother. They maintain the sketchy ernest qualities of the relationships.

The Pool

As a collegiate swimmer I spent a lot of time watching the tiled lane line at the bottom of the pool glide past. This piece copies that motif.
