Drawing-A-Day #22

True Confession: A third of this shoe was drawn in photoshop. I did my original drawing with a Micron08 & Fabriano Ecoqua, per usual. However, I was left with some superfluous lines. So I erased them in photoshop... But then I was left with a shoe that confused the eye. While I was drawing I just kept seeing the mistakes, not the actual shape of the shoe. So after the mistakes were removed my rational, critical (academic, not derogatory) brain was able to take over and fill in the missing parts of the shoe. Hence a drawing done half on paper & half on photoshop. It is so easy to get caught up in the mistakes & lose sight of the whole. I am sure there is a life metaphor in there... Happy Friday Y'all!
