More from the #40DaysOfPrintmaking Lenten Discipline series. Today is "TAKE A CHANCE" All too often we become set in what we think we SHOULD do, or what we think we DESERVE. Today is the day to step outside of that thinking & TAKE A CHANCE on a different trajectory.

As my Lenten discipline I am carving 40 phrases to print. It is very different to participate in a daily practice versus a five day a week regime. I have to admit that I do carve more than one a day so that some days I do not have to carve. I can just print or even just post. I am in the midst of some rigorous allergy testing. And it is likely to go on for awhile. These are the kind of allergies that can't be fixed by taking claritin, the kind of allergies that remind you that ALL allergies are an autoimmune response & cells have an infinite ability to mutate. In light of this long road I have to constantly remind myself to keep my "eyes on the prize." In this case enjoying good health & not getting sick from a plethora of foods.
