 This pattern is on some sidewalk slabs. It looks like oxidized concrete. I love the directionality of the marks and wonder what caused them. I love walking past this because the visual effect of walking towards it is quite fun! You feel that perhaps the sidewalk is moving. No, it's not just the hot southern sun that makes me think that. It is the effectiveness of this pattern & its unusual location on the sidewalk.

Homage to Walter DeMaria & his lightening field. The world lost a great artist this week.  I might have a new motto.
1. Look at nature Yes, please! 2. Work Independently Is there really another way? I can contribute something to a group effort, but I must do the work alone. 3. Solve your own problems. Yes my friends can help, but it is up to me to take the requisite action to effect change. 
Family Motto: Is the water deep? Jump In! Meaning Carpe Diem. Go for it! What are you waiting for, get off your device & jump in!

Working on my banner skills & thinking about recent events in America that have made me really consider how our freedoms sometimes impede justice and what should be done about that? Would I be okay with less freedom if it meant more justice? I think so.
I think this image would make a nice greeting card. The red one at Christmas time & the green one as a sympathy image.
